Night drive and Morning Bush Walk in the vicinity of the Crocodile River. A perfect addition to a Kruger Safari. Lodges inside the Kruger do not provide night drives as the drivers and guests have to be back at the lodge by sunset. We have designed this add on to any Kruger Safari to ensure that guests get the most out of their Kruger wildlife experience by adding a night drive as well as a morning bush walk. This is all possible by staying at a lodge just on the outskirts of the Kruger National Park on the banks of the Crocodile River.
The Crocodile River is the focal point of this tour. It forms the southern border of the Kruger National Park; aptly named for the crocodiles that sun themselves on the sandbanks and hippos that wallow close by. To its banks come all the animals of the Kruger National Park to drink and enjoy the cool shade of the tall trees. Lodges near the river have the privilege of views of the Kruger National Park across the river often better than the private lodges inside the Kruger.
There is an age limit for the Bushwalk; 12 – 65 years of age. A fitness Certificate must be provided by a doctor if the participant is over the age of 65.
Walking shoes or boots are required. We recommend wearing comfortable walking clothes, Neutral colours are preferred; Khaki, Grey, Brown, etc.
