The Panorama Route
Dramatically scenic northern Drakensberg escarpment route close to the Kruger National Park. Includes such sights as Gods Window, Bourkes Luck Potholes, several beautiful waterfalls including the Mac Mac, Lisbon and Berlin Falls. Blyde River Canyon is the third deepest canyon in the world after the Grand Canyon in the USA and the Fish River Canyon in Namibia. but is the deepest green canyon in the world. Pilgrims Rest, an old gold mining town preserved in its entirety. The Long Tom Pass rises to 2300 metres before descending to the Kruger National Park which is below 400 metres. The pass is named after the canon manufactured by Le Creuset in France, with which the Boers bombarded the advancing British, and of which a replica stands at the top of the pass.
Mjejane River Lodge and the Kruger National Park

*Kruger National Park entrance fee for the 7-hour open vehicle game drives from Mjejane River Lodge into the Kruger National Park on Days 3 and 4 need to be paid at Mjejane River Lodge. Mmilo Tours and Safaris can unfortunately not include these entrance fees in the tour price. These Kruger National Park entry fees need to be paid by the client at Mjejane River Lodge. The Kruger National Park entry fees are as follows: 01 November 2022 – 31 October 2023 – ZAR460.00 per adult (12 years old and above) and ZAR 230.00 per child (aged 6 to 11 years old). Children under the age of 6 years old are not permitted on the open vehicle game drives.
