Itinerary for This Tour

Day 1

Your journey begins as you are warmly greeted at Victoria Falls Airport by a Mmilo Tours representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Victoria Falls offers an unforgettable spectacle, with the mighty Zambezi River cascading over a two-kilometre-wide cliff, plunging more than a hundred meters into the gorge below. The falls’ tremendous power transforms the serene Zambezi into a roaring torrent. The highlight of your first day includes a sunset dinner cruise along the Zambezi River, offering breathtaking photographic opportunities against the African sunset.

Day 2

Day 2 allows you to fully experience Victoria Falls, Earth’s largest curtain of falling water. After breakfast, embark on a guided tour of the Zimbabwean side of the falls. Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, stroll through the rainforest, learning about the area’s rich flora, fauna, birdlife, and wildlife. Guides are also available to assist you in capturing memorable photographs. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy optional activities like helicopter or microlight flights, ziplining, or a canopy tour (enquire when booking).

Day 3

Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park Following an early breakfast, you’ll be transferred by road through Zimbabwe’s scenic northwest region to Hwange National Park, an approximately two-hour journey. Your accommodation for the next three nights is at Hwange Safari Lodge. Renowned for having the world’s largest elephant population, Hwange also offers exceptional sightings of buffalo, lions, leopards, and numerous other species. Enjoy expert-led daytime and nighttime game drives. The lodge’s waterhole provides spectacular views of wildlife, ideal for sundowner enjoyment.

Day 4

Awaken early for exhilarating morning safaris in open 4×4 vehicles guided by experienced rangers. Early drives provide excellent wildlife viewing as animals become active. After your morning game drives, return to the lodge for a leisurely late breakfast and relaxation. The lodge’s waterhole attracts abundant wildlife, providing continuous wildlife viewing opportunities. In the afternoons, head out for sunset safaris to witness the increased activity of predators and prey as evening approaches. Dinners are enjoyed at the lodge each evening.

Day 5

Same itinerary as day 4.

Day 6

After your final morning safari and a leisurely breakfast, transfer back to Victoria Falls to stay at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. Spend the afternoon at leisure exploring Victoria Falls town. This evening, you’ll be collected for the renowned Boma Dinner and Drum Show, featuring an unforgettable fusion of local cuisine, energetic dance performances, interactive drumming, and traditional storytelling. This four-course meal includes starters, campfire soup, a braai (barbecue) buffet, and desserts, making it a “must-do” experience in Victoria Falls. Afterwards, return to your hotel.

Day 7

After breakfast, you will be transferred from your hotel to Victoria Falls Airport, arriving in time for your onward flight arrangements.
