FAQs
What’s included in my tour price?
Your per-person rate covers all accommodations, most meals, park and reserve fees, expert guides, shared transfers between lodges, airports, and activity sites, two daily game drives, and selected extras as per each itinerary.
What should I pack?
Lightweight, neutral-coloured clothing (long sleeves for sun and mosquito protection), a warm layer for pre-dawn drives, sturdy walking shoes, a hat, sunglasses, binoculars, a torch/headlamp, sunscreen, and personal medications.
Are children welcome on a Mmilo Tours safari?
Yes, most lodges accept children aged six and above on game drives. Some will take younger children on private safaris. Ensure that you check the minimum age requirements for each package.
How safe are the Mmilo Tours activities?
We recommend consulting your GP or travel clinic about vaccinations and antimalarial medication.
What’s the best time of year to go on a Kruger National Park Safari?
Every season brings its different merits and there is no bad time to visit Kruger. Wildlife viewing peaks in the dry winter months (May–September) when animals congregate at waterholes. The lush summer (Oct–Apr) brings newborns, spectacular birdlife, and dramatic storms, but sightings can be more dispersed.
Can I customise my itinerary or add extras?
Many guests opt for spa treatments, helicopter rides over the Panorama, or private guiding. Simply let us know your interests and budget, and we’ll create a bespoke quote for you.
